Evaluations

Our goal as an organization is to hold unbiased tryouts and give every player an equal chance of making the team. The Zone has developed a tryout process that intends to place players on teams matching their individual skills and competitive level. We recognize that players develop at different times and intervals.  The goal is to build teams that consist of players with similar abilities and drive, in a competitive atmosphere, while fostering skills development.

For those players that have chosen NOT be considered for an A team are still encouraged to attend evaluations/tryouts so they can be properly evaluated based on their skill level which helps making teams at the B level.

Evaluation Policy

If a player is not chosen in an offered A program and attends tryouts and is not selected to participate in the offered A program there will be $125 fee retained for costs of facility rental and evaluators. In the event a player is chosen to participate in a Selects A program and choses not to play, the full registration fee will be withheld. If the player is not chosen and choses to return to the Selects B program the B registration fee and tryout fee will be withheld and balance returned to the player. If the player is not chosen in the A program and returns to their local association the tryout fee will of $125  will be withheld and balance returned.
